Κato Korakiana, culture and life near Meliti Villa
Kato Korakiana is one of the largest and liveliest villages on Corfu. Its old towers have hosted kings and prominent figures of Europe. The village has its own philharmonic orchestra, "Gerasimos Markoras," named in honor of the Corfiot poet who lived here and founded the village's first school in 1854 — a living testament to a cultural tradition that continues to this day.
Some of the island's most beloved beaches, from Paleokastritsa and Dassia to Barbati, Rovinia, and Ipsos, are essentially just a few minutes away.
Here, just outside Kato Korakiana, within the forest of the Gazatika area, Meliti Forest Villa sits in its natural setting.
